Shaun the Sheep

The girl's ornament; another character from Wallace and Gromit. Kind of wish I had given this one a little more time, but he will do. Pattern was improvised and the googly eyes happened because I ran out of time to make teeny tiny felt pieces that were perfect. I might update those next Christmas.

Feathers McGraw

An evil villain infiltrated our Christmas tree. His devious plans in no way eschewed a smile on the boy's face when he opened his stocking.

I improvised this pattern based on a character from the show Wallace and Gromit. If you look closely, you can see an old Cookie Monster crocheted ornament in the background too. Not sure who made him though.

Slime Ornament

Hubble's handmade ornament for 2012 - slime from Dragonquest. Pattern adapted from HERE. I always debate whether to make one for him, because ornaments are definitely not his thing, but mine. However, he was pretty over the moon for this little guy and now I am back to the beginning of the debate.

So Much Making

Getting a new machine and then signing up for an online sewing class sparked my motivation to make more gifts for Christmas this year. I have a ton to show you for the time I was away and I think I have figured out a good way to get pics up easily between all my devices. I don't know about you, but having more technology only complicates my life. In any event, here are a couple of things I have been practicing my skills on.

*Tea party napkins for the youngest made from a thrifted vintage pillowcase*

Black is Thomas O'Brien for Target and Yellow is vintage

*Beginnings of a reusable napkin set for us made from thrifted sheets*

*Baby doll diapers made with the youngest, on a whim, very quickly, with hand me down fabric. Lots of fun.*

Now my evenings are a tossup between the yarn and the machine...oh the dilemma!
